We give thanks this holiday to those who make our peaceful celebrations of thanks possible.
Take the Thanksgiving challenge any day of the year: when you see someone in uniform, whether in an airport, a street corner, lunch counter, or anywhere, politely and respectfully go up to them and say – “Thank You!” before you continue on your way. That’s all, just do it. Many have been willing to march into Hell for a heavenly cause, but when they come home to the rest of us or continue the fight at home, they don’t have to bear it alone. We are grateful. So please, when you give thanks this holiday, remember to give thanks to those who have given all.
