Rene Vidmer gives us a unique perspective on the societies we’ve built from his journeys across the waterways of the world. His most recent sojourn was through the waterways and canals of Europe starting at the Russian border, traversing through a myriad of countries to arrive at the Mediterranean in a 15 1/2 foot boat that he built in his back yard. In this and other worldly travels he has seen our societies from a different point of view which is essential if we are to understand our own rhythms of change.
Rene also runs his site design and program development company, Rene Vidmer N.S., Ltd. which has won Graphic Awards from: New York Art Directors Club, One Show, Clio, AIGA, Andy, CA, as well as numerous Computer Game Awards. His company has contracted for: CBS, NBC, HBO, ABC, E. F. Hutton, Cosmopolitan Magazine and many more.
