Donald P. Mazzella is COO Information Strategies, Inc., a company that helps business managers improve profits.
He currently oversees an Internet publication network with more than 4.5 million opt-in small business readers and healthcare industry stakeholders. He will launch a print version next month. Among its other publications is www.hsafinder.com, the premier site for Health Savings Accounts.
As a reporter, he has covered national and international events. He has held senior-level positions at McGraw-Hill, Thomson, Essence Communications.
Education: Mr. Mazzella holds BA, MA and MBA degrees from NYU and has taught at that university as well as others.
Mr. Mazzella has spoken at leading print and publishing industry conferences on the evolving trends in this sector. He is particularly adept at identifying and adapting technology to be used these sectors.
He is certified as an expert witness in the Federal District of Southern New York for printing, trademark, database management and publishing.
He successfully brought to market a PC-based pagination system.
Prior to ISI, Mr. Mazzella was the Publisher of Income Opportunities magazine which was owned by Essence Communications. He won a National Press Club
A nationally known speaker, he has appeared on television (MSNBC, Bloomberg) and radio programs as well as being quoted in such publications as The Wall Street Journal.
His consulting experience includes working with a number of printers, technology companies and publishers to implement electronic pagination systems.
He has taught journalism, communications and marketing at some of the top universities in the country.
