Colleges cope with over-booked freshman classes
Colleges have higher than expected freshman enrollments and are face with overcrowding. Winston-Salem State University, for instance, closed freshman admission in July and put faculty on extra courses while projected that freshman enrollment would greatly exceed their 2005 record.
